Senior Administrative Assistant

Under limited direction, the incumbent performs administrative assignments of a confidential nature. Responsibilities include: managing the inventory of brochures, stationery, event give-aways, and printing materials for the marketing department and internal clients; tracking and maintaining records related to compliance and legal review; arranging meetings, answering phones, responding to requests from Sales and Portfolio Officers, and performing administrative support and general office management; approximately 30% of the job may be performing special projects such as editing a press release, placing ads in event brochures/programs, and updating officer biographies.

Typically requires a high school education.  More than 5 years of experience.  Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software and spreadsheets (Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Power Point).  Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential issues.  Position requires poise and tact and diplomacy.  Must be able to interact and communicate with all levels of the organization.  Work requires continual attention to detail in composing to detail, typing and proofing  materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
