Seeking Brilliant Graduates for Positions in Human Resources
The D. E. Shaw group, a global investment and technology development firm, is looking for exceptional liberal arts and social science graduates to help us improve the working lives of our employees. Absolutely no previous Human Resources experience is required, as we are more interested in raw talent and an outstanding record of academic or professional achievement than in a specific work history. Members of our HR department are responsible for precisely and creatively handling tasks related to employee benefits, training, relocation and immigration, while exploring new ways to reinforce our extraordinary culture and maintain our unusually high rate of employee retention. This is a dynamic position, offering numerous opportunities to learn about world-class HR and the firm’s various businesses, which range from investment trading strategies to development of a supercomputer for drug discovery and design. Candidates should be critical thinkers with exceptional detail orientation, organizational ability, and communication and analytical skills. Successful applicants might come from any field of study, and all degree levels are welcome (BA, BS, MS, PhD). If you are open to the possibility of a career you may never have previously considered, please send a resume and cover letter to Monster-HRSpclPrjcts@career.deshaw.com .
Members of the D. E. Shaw group do not discriminate in employment matters on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, pregnancy, national origin, age, military service eligibility, veteran status, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, or any other protected class.
