Sarbanes Oxley AVP
Sarbanes Oxley Associate who will get involved in all aspects of SOX for the Firm
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
§
Work with the SOX Director and team members to identify missing process and controls for areas in scope.
§
Interview process owners and updated SOX documentation as required (narratives, risk control matrixes and Visio flowcharts)
§
Perform SOX testing, write conclusions on testing results for submission to the SOX Director
§
Develop remediation plans for failed controls and agree this with process/control owners
§
Assist with the monitoring and remediation of significant deficiencies, deficiencies and process improvement recommendations (both internally identified issues and those identified by our external auditors).
Assist with the identification of EUCs for areas of responsibility
Work with IT SOX team on baselining exercise for areas of responsibility
Qualifications
§
Undergraduate degree in Accounting, CPA preferred but not required.
§
5 - 8 years “big four” or relevant auditing experience
§
Knowledge of the financial industry
§
Strong communication skills, will be required to interact with various levels of management
§
Word for Windows, Excel, PowerPoint, Lotus Notes, Visio
