Sales/Marketing Assistant

Excellent opportunity for recent college graduate interested in entry-level Marketing position.

 

Sales/Marketing Assistant is responsible for providing sales and marketing support to field force, and administrative support to the PAS Marketing & Sales Support Team. 

 

Develops marketing and sales pieces for PAS Promotional Kits using desk-top publishing/design techniques, maintains freshness of Promotional Kits and materials.  Assists with writing and editing of field e-newsletter, brochures, marketing and sales materials. Manages the monthly client brokerage statement insert and message program.  Creates powerpoint presentations, generates various reports and excel spreadsheets.  Proofreads printed/online materials for accuracy, relevance, completeness. Responsible for submitting to Compliance/Advertising Review, tracking, posting and maintaining all marketing/sales content on Company’s intranet site.  Responsible for inventory management of Fulfillment Center.  Assists with special projects and assignments as they arise. 

 

Assists with Field Education/Training administration and logistics including developing and tracking project plans, coordinating all meeting/conference arrangements, assisting with development, preparation and distribution of all training materials, signage, flyers, participant name badges, etc., working with internal Print Shop as necessary.  Tracks and follows up with conference presenters to obtain presentations in a timely manner; submits all presentations to Compliance/Advertising Review for approval. Interfaces with outside events planning team.  Handles travel, hotel and transportation arrangements for training conferences and business trips.

 

Handles all administrative responsibilities including incoming calls, mail, faxes, routine correspondence, filing, and copying.  Maintains Manager’s calendar, schedules meetings, conference calls, Webinars, takes meeting minutes as needed.  Orders all office supplies and promotional items and prepares requisition/payment requests.  Packages promotional items; arranges delivery to agencies.  Liaison with building services.  Management reserves the right to assign and/or reassign duties and responsibilities at any time.

Knowledge: 

Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Lotus Notes (or similar email system), HTML

Familiarity with investment products (mutual funds, variable annuities, variable life products) a plus

 

 

Education:  College degree or equivalent work experience required.  Marketing Major a plus.

 

 

Experience:

1-2 years business experience preferred
