Sales Database Specialist

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
• Serves as the first level support for user support including managing HEAT tickets
• Works with multiple data files to compare, combine and consolidate lists
• Utilizes Siebel and other data sources to prepare reports
• Leads data integrity activities, recommends solutions, and works with users to improve data quality
• Utilizes third party sources to update fundamental company data in Siebel on a scheduled basis
• Manipulates and cleanses data from third-parties into a useable format
• Supports internal customers by answering Siebel usage and process questions
• Assesses user needs and provides training on how to properly enter and maintain data in Siebel, and run reports
• Develops user guides
• Assists in the maintenance of the Siebel support intranet site
• Works with Siebel support team in Australia to have new reports developed
• Assists in the testing of Siebel reports, data loads and system releases
• Supports sales efforts by utilizing various data sources to create target lists
• Serves as a liaison between the US businesses and Australian technical team
• Works with other shared services (Marketing, Billing, Finance, Treasury) to enhance data and reporting capabilities

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; and 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Strong computer skills, excel and access are preferable

- Strong analtyical and problem solving skills

- Excellent organization and time management skills with attention to detail
