Sales/Customer Service Associate

Located in Chantilly, VA, Intersections Inc. has a need for sales and customer service associates for inbound direct-to-consumer sales and service via phone, for Intersections branded products and services. Responsibilities:Handle calls from both prospects and/or existing customers to facilitate the following call types: Sales (Customer acquisition, phone enrollment):
requires knowledge of consumer direct campaigns, product offerings and pricing options and product upgrade path. Upsell -after servicing the customer, attempt to move existing members through the product value chain.  Billing and Retention - Requires the ability to successfully SAVE customerswho wish to cancel by using product knowledge, strong and compelling value propositions and the ability to discuss issues related to identity theft General Customer Service Inquiries
-requires knowledge of: Marketing campaigns specific details:
Familiarity with the marketing message,
creative presentation, special
offers/promotions and partner Product specific details Credit reports and scores Identity theft and its consequences Website / Enrollment issuesUse computerized system for tracking, information gathering, and/or troubleshooting Demonstrate commitment to and the ability to retain and up-sell Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by members of management


Qualifications:

 High School diploma or equivalentPrior customer service/sales experience required; experience in a call center environment preferred Proven ability to articulate product value propositionDemonstrated ability to retain and up-sell customers Excellent telephone communication skillsAbility to type 30wpm with 90% accuracyAbility to work in a Microsoft Windows environmentAbility to navigate the Internet and a computer-based data entry systemAbility to demonstrate strong verbal business communication / ability to respond appropriately using ICD suggested scripted response without sounding like they are reading from a script.Sales and results orientedDependable, reliable and motivatedPositive and professional attitudeAbility to multi-task (listen and type at the same rate)Scheduling flexibility a mustBilingual (Spanish/English) a plusSuccessful completion of Intersections Credit Education Specialist training program and passing of all certification examsMust be able to work flexible shifts between the hours of 8AM-Midnight Monday – Friday, and rotating Saturdays between the hours of 9AM-6PM
