A stable and growing technology firm in the financial services industry is looking for a leader in our Finance and Accounting department.  Our company has built a solid financial foundation and we are looking for someone to build and drive our company’ efforts in the following key areas:

 

Responsibilities:Responsible for the successful Project Management of all financial related disclosures, sign-offs and document preparation requirements involved in the reporting of financial information.Perform technical accounting research on current and emerging US GAAP and SEC Requirements.  Prepare initial memorandums and associated analysis.Provide technical contract review assistance for revenue related contracts with multiple deliverables or non-standard commitments.Identify disclosure impact and recommend process changes resulting from new regulations issued by FASB, SEC, etc as required.Prepare presentations to the CEO Staff and BOD presentations

 

Qualifications: Strong SEC reporting experience: 10K, 10Q, equity filings, etc Strong technical experience and knowledge of GAAP and SEC rules and regulations Experience with IPO process preferredSOX/internal controls/process improvement experience preferredBig 4 experience preferredAt least 3 years experience in a Public Company in Accounting/Operations role.
