Job Description: Business Direct, a division within the Wells Fargo Diversified Products Group, is seeking a credit risk consultant to join the Customer Information and Risk Management (CIRM) Team. CIRM is responsible for providing modeling, Basel and analytic consulting for Regional Business Banking.You will be our key problem solver, responsible for supporting Business Banking Basel, loss forecasting, and portfolio quality analysis. Duties include performing complex analysis and modeling; providing analytical support on new credit origination and existing portfolio management; segmenting and monitoring various credit and deposit products; detecting trends based on vintages, risk score bands, commitment limits, etc. and making recommendations to management based on those trends; producing performance monitoring and benchmarks regarding growth, delinquency, losses, recovery and overall profitability; coordinating the production of performance reports for senior management; reviewing and analyzing current credit policies and recommending modifications for improvement. Minimum Qualifications: - 2+ years credit risk management experience - Strong oral and written communication skills - Be able to collaborate with teams in different functions - Strong leadership and project management skills - Ability to think creatively and innovate - Must be flexible and be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously - Graduate degree in Economics, Math, Statistics, Operations Research, or related fields - Proficiency in SAS, SQL, and Excel.
