Review Appraiser / Valuation

Duties:

Review, provide technical support, and perform quality control review of valuation products on a national level.  Set, justify, and communicate target values on existing portfolio.  This position will take an intricate role in marking our book monthly.

Main Duties Review all types of residential real estate valuations (Appraisals, BPO, AVMs) to ensure the delivery of a quality product that meets all industry and customer specific requirements. Contact vendors to obtain required information. Maintain quality control standards. Provide technical support to staff and customers and handle all technical questions through to resolution. Reconciliation of applicable vendor and customer fees, prior to invoicing. Educate vendors on our customer’s specifications as they relate to the assigned order and product. Perform other related duties or projects as assigned by supervisor. Assist with the implementation of services.

Requirements: Minimum of two years of real estate appraisal experience. Aptitude to prioritize, multi task, and organize in a fast pace environment. Licensed / Certified residential appraiser, which must be maintained and kept in good standing. Licensed Texas Real Estate Broker and Mortgage Broker a Very Strong Plus. Licensed Texas Real Estate Brokers License a Strong Plus Licensed Texas Mortgage Brokers License a Strong Plus Superior knowledge of appraisal terminology, requirements and forms. Ability to review appraisals for technical content on a national level. Candidate must possess strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to type a minimum of 50 words per minute. Basic knowledge of Microsoft office products to include but not limited to word, excel, outlook, etc. Must be a team player and willing to adapt to change.
