JOB DESCRIPTION:
JOB LEVEL: manages assigned client relationships. Underwrites and documents all but the most complex credits. Independently contacts clients and prospects. Leads team interaction with operations and product groups. Assigns risk assessment to assigned portfolio, determines appropriate plan of action for deteriorating credits.
JOB COMPLEXITY: underwrites basic to moderately complex credits. Follows up on referrals for prospective clients and presents SVB products and services. Proactively identifies cross sell opportunities. Begins to develop a network in the business community. Prepares renewal term sheets independently. Interacts with all levels of clients independently.
SUPERVISION: Prepares term sheets under supervision of the SRM. May serve as a resource for Associates I and II.
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
EXPERIENCE: 5 or more years of related experience. Excellent credit analysis skills. Good negotiation skills and sales and marketing skills. Good knowledge and application of credit policies and risk ratings.
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
