Registered Representative - Municipal Bonds

This is a great opportunity for a retail securities salesperson familiar with the California municipal bond market to join a firm actively focused in that area.

 

We are a small and well-established broker/dealer in northern California, specializing in tax-free municipal bonds. We are primarily retail-oriented, and are also developing a growing institutional business. We have an active and innovative public finance/investment banking department which generates municipal underwritings and a successful trading department which is active in both the primary and secondary markets on a daily basis.

 

We participate in all areas of the California muni market and have a special expertise in non-rated and land-secured issues, so knowledge of this sector, while not required, would be valuable to you.

 

You should be an experienced registered representative with sales production, a good understanding of fixed-income securities in general, and of the California muni market in particular. We also support equities, mutual funds, insurance, and other products. You should have a Series 7 or 52 license and a good compliance record. A Series 24 or 53 license, while not required, would be a plus.
