Fidelity has over 100 investor center branches across the country and continues to open multiple new branches each year. Ourbranches offer a full range of investor products and services to individual mutual fund and brokerage customers- including personal needs-based investment guidance, wealth management, retirement planning, income strategies and college planning services. As one of three retail distribution channels within PWI, our investor center branches represent the face of Fidelity to our customers. The Regional Consultant (RC) is responsible for increasing market share by driving internal and external rollover, net flows and acquisition of new customers for the Investor Center(s) and market area to which he/she is assigned. This will be achieved through close coordination with the branch team, centers of influence and internal and external business partners. The RC is responsible for creating opportunities for Fidelity in his/her local marketplace by proactively developing relationships with key contacts at companies, institutions, and organizations and by networking in the local community. They will drive brand awareness and prospect lead generation by focusing on Retirement, Local Market Development and One Fidelity initiatives. In addition to business development activities, the RC serves as a leader in the branch by championing retirement products and Campaigns, training representatives and serving as the key point person for internal business partners in Fidelity Employer Services Co (FESCo), Fidelity Retirement Services (FRS), and Stock Plan Services. The RC spends 3-4 days/week out of the office traveling to meetings and presentations. Primary Responsibilities Build Local Retirement Business (internal rollover —external rollover) Drive rollover for Branch/DMA to meet/exceed goal. Understand which local companies are having corporate actions, and leverage these to increase Branch/DMA Rollover Retention Rate and Retail “Crossover”/penetration with FESCo participants. Work closely with internal business partners to identify and maximize Fidelity Institutional client corporate actions, and to develop local action plan. Highlight and drive lead execution and conversion by educating reps on ways to improve overall contact and close ratios for rollover leads. Local Market Development Be an active contributor to the local market development plan by developing, with the Branch Manager, a business plan that meets or exceeds targets for rollover, new households and new assets. Proactively network in the community to develop external corporate contacts and Fidelity advocates to drive leads to branch. Drive/champion rep conversion of leads .One Fidelity Initiatives Partner with FESCo Account Executives and Retirement Counselors to promote lead exchange and enhance overall brand awareness in the community. Own Emerging Corporate Markets (ECM) lead generation and conversion. Motivate branch team to uncover opportunities in your market. Support Fidelity Retirement Income Advantage and other “One Fidelity” Programs by delivering seminars, workshops and appointment days on site at companies. Leadership (Branch Execution) Champion national campaigns within branch. Assist in training reps on new retirement products, services and initiatives. Education and Experience Candidates are preferred to have 5+ years of proven financial services sales experience with strong product and retirement knowledge Certified Financial Planner Designation preferred- encouraged to be attained BA, BS or MBA desirable Skills and Knowledge Series 7 & 63 Securities Licenses required prior to hire Series 66 (63/65) and Insurance Licenses required (or to be obtained within 3 months or hire) Must have excellent presentation skills to both large and small audiences Must possess the ability to successfully network both internal and external to Fidelity to drive business Must have excellent written and oral communication skills Must be a consummate team playerFidelity Investments is one of the world's largest providers of financial services, with custodied assets of $3.3 trillion, including managed assets of more than $1.5 trillion as of January 31, 2008.
