RFP Specialist

Write, develop, complicated and detailed requests for proposals (RFPs) which pertain to composite performance, organizational information, assets under management, and/or product specific data.

·  Responsible for the maintenance and enhancement of RFP templates; manage and assign proposals to team

·  Assist with managing the internal process to develop proposals, including obtaining key information from a variety of departments

·  Develop and manage internal project timelines to meet all prospects’ requirements

·  Assist with providing support to client services including, client reporting, correspondence and other internal or external communication vehicles.

·  Ensures executive, legal, and financial approvals as appropriate

 

Professional Qualifications:

·  The individual should have experience producing quality RFPs. Specific knowledge of the institutional market place preferred. 

·  BA/BS Degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Finance or a related field.

·  Minimum of 3 - 5 years prior work experience to include writing and responding to RFPs in a financial environment.

·  Thorough knowledge of the investment industry and familiarity with industry jargon to be able to interpret instructions and respond to requests

·  Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills

·  High level of self motivation, including the ability to quickly learn complex businesses.

·  Excellent project management skills-including the ability to marshal resources, communicate and manage timelines and responsibilities, and make changes as necessary to ensure delivery of product

·  High degree of integrity and the ability to recognize the requirements of confidentiality

·  Outstanding organization, decision making and problem solving skills

·  Entrepreneurial approach to task management.  Ability to take control and manage tasks independently to closure

·  Demonstrated team player, self-starter, and independent thinker

·  Excellent organization and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

·  Expertise in Microsoft Suite of products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Salary: 65k to 75k DOE + excellent benefits and bonus
