Quantitative/Performance Analyst

Responsibilities:

Support sophisticated large and medium size institutional clients in the calculation and delivery of accurate and timely performance measurement reporting. S/He’s primary responsibilities will include conducting attribution and optimization analysis on portfolios and benchmarks, identifying performance and statistical outliers, and resolving fixed income report processing problems. Interact with high level contacts in the investment and financial departments to effectively service clients, investment advisors and consultants in the use of performance information. Utilize an understanding of performance methodology for complex portfolios/investment strategies and systems knowledge. S/He will develop advanced outlier tracking controls as well as oversee their implementation.

Qualifications:

Education Requirement of Bachelors degree, as well as at least 1-2 years experience as a Performance Measurement Analyst and/or 4 years of work experience in an investment related position. Must have demonstrated understand of performance measurement concepts. This experience preferably include one of the following: performance measurement analysis, investment accounting, investment support. Ability to problem solve, communicate effectively both written and orally and PC knowledge are necessary requirements. The position requires detailed research of inaccurate accounting and security data. This analysis must be communicated to the client and discrepancies must be resolved. The job incumbent must exercise sound judgment regarding the impact of an Accounting and/or a Performance Processing problem on a client’s performance reports.
