Quality Analyst

Tests a variety of applications in a 3-tiered, distributed systems environment. Examines business requirement documents; provides feedback on testability and level of effort for testing all business requirements. Examines functional and technical design docments; provide feedback on testability and level of effort for testing all functional/technical designs. Develops and Documents detailed testing plans using business requirements, functional design and technical design documents. Executes test plans and Tracks test results. Provides timely updates and status on assigned projects to management as required. Participates in project meetings and status meetings as required by supervisor/manager.

Balances multiple high-priority testing projects and assignments. Coordinates with other members of the quality assurance team and/or project team to ensure maximum efficiency in the execution of testing projects and assignments. Occassionally Supervises and Trains junior members of the quality assurance team and/or project team.

Assists management in the development and execution of large scale testing project plans. Assists management in progress tracking, status reporting and issues resolution during the course of large scale testing projects. Helps to coordinate the activities of multiple departments across the organization to ensure the quality, success and timeliness of software installations/releases. Runs meetings on a regular basis.
