Lead, plan, develop and execute projects for business solutions to enhance productivity and responsiveness to client needs, in support of division strategic goals and evolving technologies. Define and lead project teams, including cross-departmental business teams, remote teams, technical resources, and outside vendors to implement complex mission-critical projects, business processes and software applications within a defined budget and schedule. Act as focal point and liaison between business users and technical unit for all phases of projects, with responsibility ranging from scope and definition to delivery and post implementation review. Develop and maintain project deliverables, including vision, business case, communication plan, schedule, risk and issue plans, and status reports. Develop alternatives within budget and schedule to satisfy changes in scope and direction; communicate changes to project sponsor. Perform all tasks required for project management. Includes maintaining project schedule; developing alternatives to satisfy changes in scope or requirement and resource contentions and communicating alternatives to management; anticipating obstacles, assessing tradeoffs and recommending solutions; reporting project status, issues, risks, deliverables, and action items to project team, senior management, stakeholders, and sponsors; facilitating project meetings; negotiating for project resources; managing activities of team members. Lead analysis to gather detailed requirements of business functions, identify gaps in process, evaluate potential solutions, present findings and recommend best solution. Collaborate with business and technical experts to develop functional specifications for process and/or system, including business rules, modeling/design, workflow diagrams, and screen/report layout. Participate in mapping of data and conversion plans and specifications. Support data and application integrity requirements. Provide training and development in workflow analysis, requirements gathering, systems application testing, and project management methodologies for others who lead projects; perform post project implementation reviews. Monitor industry trends to define and implement new project management methodologies. Plan and oversee development and execution of volume, regression, integration and user acceptance testing, including resolution of reported problems; review results and document findings. Plan, develop and oversee transition management. Identify training needs, develop the training strategy, and facilitate development and delivery of user training and manuals. Communicate with marketing group regarding product changes and new products. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field. Experience: 5 to 7 years demonstrated experience in project management and leadership with business analysis, process modeling and application design, or the equivalent combination of education and/or relevant business/financial services and project management experience. Familiarity with relational database technology and web-based development tools preferred. Professional certification: PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification or Project Management Certificate program preferred.
