The position will analyze the marketing and pricing process to asses their impact on the portfolio composition, and make strategic recommendations that will improve profitability and returns on the portfolio. The following are some of the tasks among other tasks that the individual in this position will do. 1. Perform competitive analysis, model product profitability and conversion rates to optimize pricing for different segments of the Discover Personal Loans (DPL) population. 2. Build regression models and decision trees to characterize customer response and conversion for use in targeting of customers. 3. Identify key portfolio variables to segment DPL prospect universe and improve response and conversion rates on marketing programs. 4. Work closely with Risk Management to analyze performance of risk policies and improve risk strategy for the product. 5. Prepare business cases for various marketing and risk initiatives, and analyze their impact on overall profitability and returns.SKILLSRequired: Skills RequiredComfortable with SAS (or SAS EG), SQL and other databases Prior experience in building risk or marketing models in financial services industry Ability to summarize data and present findings to senior management Desired: Click here to apply:
