Project Leader-Asset Management

The Logistics / Inventory Project Leader, working with IS Asset Management and other functional resources, will ensure efficient, effective, inventory flow using best practices in inventory management, systems architecture and analysis. Independently working across functional lines will develop and implement strategies, methods, techniques and tactical evaluation criteria for improving operational efficiencies and improving customer service, inventory levels and operating costs. The Logistics / Inventory Project Leader will manage the Firm's inventory problem resolution efforts facilitating the use of both direct and indirect resources ensuring focus on final timely resolution. The Logistics / Inventory Project Leader will work on complex issues including systems implementations where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of the company, processes, and systems, which affect inventory.Responsibilities Manage tasks, scope, and requirements to meet agreed-upon schedules Devise and maintain workable project plans to accomplish the business needs that each project was undertaken to address Plan and lead projects to ensure project cost, schedule, and quality objectives are met by monitoring and measuring progress, taking corrective action, and escalating issues when necessary Responsible for all system deliverables, adherence to methodology, cost and risk management, and reporting Coordinate project activities across multiple functional areas Evaluate, monitor and project long-term supply/demand, capacity, and cost analysis Assess the adequacy of data and or processes that areRequirements Bachelor's Degree in IS, Logistics or Finance required Five or more years of experience in information systems One or more years experience in a project leadership role Detailed understanding of project management methodologies, system development lifecycle, infrastructure best practices and risk management concepts Knowledge of Information Systems, Finance/Accounting, Logistics Operations, Field Operations, and Supply Chain Operations Experience with logistics and/or inventory is a plus Strong ability to learn and apply new/emerging technologies Basic knowledge of financial services industry Excellent relationship-management skills with all organizational levels Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a team environment and/or as an individual contributor, as requiredSubmit an online resume for prompt consideration for this opportunity.
