Production Associate - Fulfilment Mon-Fri 9a-5:30p

Position is responsible for the day to day processing of requests for fulfilment products. This includes pick/pack hand insertion of letters and booklets into envelopes. Also includes the processing of overnight packages and metering of mail. Position is required to maintain client SLA's of one to two day turnaround of daily fulfilment items and notice and access proxy packages.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

¨ Retrieves and fulfils requests with proper inserts according to work instructions.

¨ Knowledge and operating experience with BOWE, Bell & Howell, Intel mail inserting/mailing equipment

¨ Operates envelope sealing machine efficiently and inspects mail packs to insure proper sealing.

¨ Maintains inventory levels on database to insure proper inventory levels.

¨ Ensures that all documents are output in an efficient and timely manner according to the instructions specified in the job bag requirements.

¨ Verifies and records the number of pieces printed and spoiled on the job bag form, insuring complete reconciliation on a page, set, and job level. The incumbent is responsible for initialing and dating all work completed. Attention must be given to such details as lodgement date to ensure that the printing time frame allows mail to go out from the Mailroom on time.

¨ May maintains the laser or mailing machines by following prescribed preventive maintenance procedures. When necessary, communicates any problems.

¨ Ensures that all mail is sorted in an efficient and timely manner according to the instructions specified in the job bag requirements.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year of experience in mailing department and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
