The scope of this job is to coordinate, manage and lead projects/people using appropriate technical skills to complete assignments that support business goals. In this position, the Product Operations Associate Manager will provide risk management consulting and communication throughout the organization. Sound knowledge of the insurance industry is essential, however, advanced training will be provided as needed. Technical aptitude and analytical abilities are mandatory.  Effective interpersonal communication and presentation skills are essential in being able to present information in a manner that others, with varying degrees of risk management knowledge, will understand.  Must be detail oriented, have the ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-task environment with excellent organization skills. Responsibilities: Assisting with the design and execution of country-wide Risk Management policy and process. Execution of complex projects using accepted project management standards that include effective requirement gathering skills and working well with others of a non-technical background. Continuous improvement of existing Risk Management/Product Operations applications. Translation of risk management concepts into logical design documentation for internal IT communication and execution. Act as a contact for on-going Risk management process and procedural questions within the organization. Scope may include subject-matter expert level communication on risk management compliance responsibilities and best practices, requiring independent decision-making skills. Provides expertise on systems or applications as needed by a department/discipline. Required Skills Good financial acumen Strong communication and analytical skills Demonstrated customer focus Demonstrated ability to lead others Excellent technical aptitude with strong experience in Excel, PowerPoint and Word 2+ years P&C insurance related experience or a BS in Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related field Prior project management experience preferred
