Portfolio Manager

We are currently looking for a Portfolio Manager to join our Fixed Income Portfolio Management team. In this role you will be responsible for handling fixed-income investment activities for various portfolios.In order to be successful within this role, you must have the ability to work independently in a fast-paced and intellectually-demanding environment. Key responsibilities will include:-Providing analytical support and investment strategies to Portfolio Managers-Supporting the investment process through updating databases and maintaining records-Assisting in the analysis of relative value and supporting generation and documentation of investment strategies based on relative value-Conducting research projects and providing weekly analytics tools -Supporting the analysis of overall performance through performance attribution and peer group analysis-Interacting with other members of the investment team including Portfolio Managers and Traders to help facilitate an effective investment decision making process.-Assisting in allocations of trades into portfolios and documentation of portfolio strategies.Requirements: Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor degree in Business, Economics or Finance. Those who have completed or are pursuing CFA designation or an MBA are highly desired. In addition to the required education, you should have 3-5 years of relevant fixed income experience particularly with corporate bonds, structured securities and exhibit analytical concepts such as YTM and YTC. The right fit will probably have a Portfolio Management/Analyst background or a Research background.Desired computer skills include proficiency in Intex, Bond Edge and Bloomberg.
