An opportunity currently exists within our Investment Management Operations department for a Performance Analyst.

POSITION TITLE:   PERFORMANCE ANALYST

DEPARTMENT:   INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT OPERATIONS

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:

- Associate degree or equivalent financial services experience required; Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or Mathematics preferred

- One year of business and/or securities related experience required

- Working knowledge of securities and/or mutual fund industry preferred

- Financial services, performance and data analysis experience preferred

- Knowledge of MS Office required including strong knowledge of Excel

MAJOR DUTIES:

- Prepare monthly and quarterly performance reports for FIC clients.  Verify and monitor client holdings, flows, and activity. 

- Responsible for developing and maintaining a relationship with custodian contacts for FIC client relationships.

- Obtain timely and accurate flow, security and transaction activity for all accounts in order to monitor cash balances and to keep the portfolio manager and clients abreast of correct activity and performance.

- Responsible for maintaining a communication link with the KAG in Germany to ensure the daily NAV calculations are accurate and to ensure the monthly FIC performance calculation is in agreement with the calculation provided to the client from the KAG.

- Responsible for preparing strategy and internal management reports used by portfolio managers and senior management to monitor activity, industry levels, allocation, and performance in all FIC accounts.

- Reconcile holdings between Performance Systems and Custodian. 

- Coordinate monthly pricing for fixed income and equity securities in collaboration with portfolio managers.

- Calculate component performance for separate accounts to determine attribution of the returns.

- Pre-clear transactions and complete daily compliance test for KAG relationships.

- Responsible for initialization and communication for new accounts.

- Prepare and present internal management reports to portfolio managers.

- Assist in preparation of quarterly billing.

- Compile/calculate performance statistics for the quarterly composite and quarterly component performance.

- Perform special projects as assigned by management.

HOURS/LOCATION:

- 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Overtime as required)
