Job Description: Wells Fargo Advantage Funds (WFAF) is seeking a Performance Analyst in our Funds Management Group. WFAF consists of over 100 mutual funds with over $150 billion in assets under management. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: The analyst is responsible for ongoing operations of performance reporting systems that calculate and distribute fund performance data, including system operations and responding to internal and external requests for information. This individual may also be the lead analyst for performance information and reporting processes for one or several FMG product lines (i.e. managed accounts) or departments (i.e. disclosure), and backup/assist the other analysts as needed. Preparation of annual updates for our mutual fund prospectuses, Analyze and solve complex performance, expense and data related issues The position creates and maintains several Access databases, generates reports and updates files. Participate in the development of the Company s reporting policies and procedures, and their continuous improvement process. Participate in cross-departmental projects. Ability to work independently, problem-solve, and prioritize multiple tasks. Minimum Qualifications: BA/BS in accounting or finance. 5 years experience in the investment management and/or banking. Experience with automated financial systems, knowledge of Invest One, SEI and Bloomberg would be beneficial. Candidate should have advanced MS Access and Excel skills.
