Join our team now as a:Payroll Manager The ideal candidate will be an effective manager, organizer and innovator who oversees the entire centralized MedStar Health payroll department, located at our White Marsh location. This is a multifaceted role that requires the ability to address complex payroll issues and ensure timely, accurate processing across several companies and process levels.  Responsibilities include: ·  Personnel hiring, training and supervision ·  Developing processes and monitoring daily performance ·  Establishing positive relationships with internal/external auditors and federal/state agencies ·  Ensuring accuracy in such pay areas as wages, differentials, overtime, holidays and deductions ·  Verifying regulatory compliance ·  Promptly resolving problem issues Qualifications:·  Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or other business emphasis·  5 years’ payroll experience, 3 of which are in a supervisory role·  Experience in building and motivating an effective Payroll organization ·  A proven track record in fostering or promoting change with positive business results·  Expertise in payroll administration, federal and multiple state laws ·  Excellent communication and presentation skills ·  Computer literacy in Lawson and API is a plus We offer a competitive salary and benefit package, including health, life, dental, vision and 403(b) with match.
