Payments Industry Analyst
Primary Responsibilities: In this position you will use your bankcard knowledge to perform duties such as analyzing interchange and rate reviews as well as research and resolve inquiries regarding compliance of card association regulations and processor requirements. You will work both as a team member and independently to support our internal and external customers while interacting with various across the organization. You will also provide education to merchants, sales agents, and service representatives regarding discount calculations and why transactions may be charged a qualified mid or non qualified rate. You will be responsible for the research, analysis, and implementation of new and existing programs and system enhancements, including providing recommendations regarding how to implement changes. Qualifications: 3-5 years previous experience in a card processing environment
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent communication skills
Strong analytical skills
Intermediate to expert Excel skills
Knowledge of Visa and Master Card interchange programs, rules and regulations
Experience with FDR systems and reports highly desired
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
BA/BS Degree preferred
