Participant Financial Consultant

represent company in a sales and consultative capacity conducting group and individual meetings on-site at a Regional Office’s top 30 group clients, ranked by assets.  Primary responsibility will be to enhance the Company’s relationship with the participants at our largest clients, while cross-selling individual products during on-site group and individual employee meetings.  Additional responsibilities include increasing enrollment in group plans, increasing the contributions and obtaining transfers from current group plan participants, and obtaining new enrollments for the Company’s Individual Products (IRA/FPA).  The Participant Financial Advisor will be responsible for following up on Direct Mail, Advertising, and website leads forwarded by the Rollover Specialists on the 800-line.

 

Essential Functions:

1. Conduct on-site employee meetings, in both a group and individual setting, primarily to employees of the Company’s top 30 group clients ranked by assets in each Regional Office.

2. Solicitation and procurement of new Thrift and Tax Deferred Annuity Plan enrollments, including individual participant transfers into these plans.  Leads to be obtained through conducting on-site employee meetings as noted above.  Includes active consultation with participants regarding the investment alternatives offered under the contract, asset allocation modeling, etc.

3. Solicitation and procurement of new Individual Product enrollments. Includes active consultation with participants on all matters concerning Individual Products, including the investment alternatives offered under the contract, asset allocation modeling, etc.  Leads would be obtained from referrals, follow up on Direct Mail and Advertising leads, forwarded by the 800-line Rollover Specialist.

4. Conduct on-site employee meetings, in both a group and individual setting, to certain new name group retirement plan clients.  The new clients would be assigned by the Regional Officer.

5.  Coordination of client service matters with local Regional Office service staff and any appropriate Home Office Departments.
