HighlightsAIG Job ID: SA-LMB-Louisville-PISHJENPosition Type: Part Time - RegularLocation: KY-LouisvilleRelocation: NoEducation: High SchoolExperience: 1-2 yearsDescription: PART TIME SALES ASSISTANTWhat You Will Be Doing:- Providing administrative support to a AIG Retirement sales professional (Senior Financial Advisor).- Monitor and manage Senior Financial Advisor's calendars.- Monitor and manage sales leads.- Respond to client requests for forms or sales literature.- Assist with processing paperwork and forms.- Phone work setting appointments with existing clients.- Assist with preparing client mailings.- Prepare routine correspondence; and, completing office tasks such as copying, taking messages, distributing mail items, etc. - This position will not perform selling duties, nor advise clients. Requirements:- To be successful in this position, individual must be skilled in verbal communication and have the ability to interact effectively with external contact. - Must consistently exercise discretion in handling client interactions, and in directing clients to the appropriate party for resolving problems orcomplex issues. - Must demonstrate strong organizational skills. - Must be proficient with applicable personal computer applications, including managing Outlook e-mail, MS Word processing, MS Excel, and also acquire and maintain a working knowledge of AIG Retirement sales materials ordering procedures and regulations pertaining to client contact.- Laptop computer may be provided.Hours & Compensation:- 10 hours per week- Starting pay rate at $8-$9 hour, depending upon experience.- No securities licensing required.- Training will be provided by the Senior Financial Advisor.
