Job Title: PORTFOLIO MANAGER Company: Principal Financial Group Location: Portland, OR 97201 Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Accounting/Finance/Insurance Morley Financial, a Pacific Northwest fixed income investment manager (an affiliate of Principal Global Investors) is seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager to manage a group of institutional retirement plan portfolios.Requirements Include: MBA plus 4-7 years experience in managing investment grade total return fixed income portfolios. Emphasis on asset backed, CMBS or credit sector is desirable, and CFA preferred. Extensive knowledge of the market, in-depth knowledge of fixed income investments. Strong analytical, writing and verbal skills required and experience in managing client relationships and presentations to existing and prospective clients. Must have a good understanding of various portfolio theories, staying current on new portfolio management techniques and maintaining a familiarity with analytical tools and valuation models. Moderate travel required.Success in this position requires the ability to sift through a large amount of market-related data on a daily basis and determine what is relevant.
