P1 Field Vice President

Description:The Platform 1 Field Vice President position exists to drive site-level (centralized sales office) growth and results productivity by creating a compelling growth/business plan for the site, developing and providing leadership to P1 managers, advisor coaches and financial advisors. Core responsibilities include: demonstrate leadership behaviors & competencies; ensure compliance, brand standards, client service & client satisfaction are met; grow the use of Ameriprise financial planning & quality of advice techniques and standards; Drive results & growth for assigned site, manage all functions for the site's business development & planning, communication, positive environment, budget; Provide leadership & manage performance; Recruit new advisors, assess & select those qualified; Provide frontline leadership to leaders and advisors through teaching, monitoring & development/implementation of systems & structure; Attract and develop leaders & potential leaders, develop an effective team of leaders for site; Acquire clients; Encourage & facilitate employee advisor transitions to independent contractor; Facilitate & encourage inner platform branch formations and transfers. This position is located in: Alpharetta, GA.Qualifications:4+ years of people mgmt experience or equivalent; 6+ yrs of professional experience including at least 5 yrs experience in two or more of the following: recruitment and selection, training, marketing/sales, management development, sales mgmt support, financial planning, finance & budget management; Demonstrated: leadership competencies -- thought, results, relationship & people, personal competencies, ability to develop successful leaders; Excellent compliance record & knowledge of compliance requirements; Organization & time mgmt skills including demonstrated ability to manage multiple responsibilities and/or concurrent projects; Analytical - ability to analyze data & reports to determine business needs & opportunities; Strong interpersonal, facilitation, influencing & communication skills; Commitment to diversity & sensitivity to differences among people; Supportive of Ameriprise Financial mission, strategies, products, financial planning services; Working knowledge of readiness assessment & situational leadership; Proven ability to hire, train, coach & manage performance; Proven ability to develop & implement marketing plans for client acquisition w/various marketing techniques; Knowledge of recruitment policies, legal/regulatory guidelines & screening activities; FINRA General Securities & Principal Registration.Salary/Benefits: Salary commensurate with experienceJob Location: Alpharetta, GAJob Number: 76868Company URL: http://joinameriprise.com/careers/Company Profile:Ameriprise Financial has more than 110 year history as a leading provider of financial services.
