Position Description:DescriptionBring continuous improvement mindset to growing asset management and trust custody operation. Seeking experienced professional to add depth and system enhancement capabilities to a reconciliation team that is responsible for daily/monthly/quarterly reconciliations of cash and security movements between trust accounting system and various financial institutions. Providing controllership to reduce risk in the organization and minimize losses.Successful candidate will use trust accounting system, as well as, information from vendors, banks and other related parties to identify, research and resolve all custodial cash and position balances to ensure timely and accurate client reporting. Prevent reconciliation issues from recurring through careful root-cause analysis and ensure all outages are researched and cleared in a timely manner. Document desk-level processes, providing detailed step-by-step instructions. Track, analyze and report key reconciliation metrics to leadership. Surge as a backup for other positions within the team, when needed. Proactively identify and communicate opportunities to improve processes using Excel and/or Access. Test, analyze and review changes to trust accounting system and communicate findings to technology team. Complete multiple tasks simultaneously, meeting stringent deadlines.
