Operations Manager/Business Manager

The Manager is heavily involved in the day-to-day operations of the unit. The individual in this role will report to both the Regional Manager and the Global Head of Private Wealth Management.

Principal Responsibilities:
- Work on annual business plan and other strategic projects
- Conduct annual business reviews of teams along with the Regional Manager and PWM senior management
- Oversee, manage, direct and coordinate recruiting activities, including the interviewing process, selling process and ongoing recruiting events
- Provide follow up and report on status of lead tracking
- Communicate wins/losses and notable weekly activity within the office and to PWM senior management
- Maintain ongoing discussion with teams about team issues, support requirements, etc.
- Handle personnel issues, including employee relations, nominations and promotions
- Conduct personal development review process
- Determine and review compensation
- Oversee compliance activities
- Coordinate training activities
- Oversee and manage the office P&L with close review of costs
- Liaison with Commission Accounting Group on sales compensation and bonus programs
- Maintain and analyze client demographic information, account size, type of accounts, etc.
- Responsible for new technology rollouts and maintaining infrastructure to support the business
- Coordinate client conferences and events

Experience/Skills:

-MBA
- Series 7, 9 or 10 strongly preferred
- Financial industry experience
- Sales experience a plus
- Project management
