DescriptionOnline Community Specialist in St. Louis, MO will work with the Customer Education Group within the Product Development department. This person should be an avid user of 'social' media sites such as Facebook, MySpace, Digg, Reddit, etc. They should also be comfortable 'friending' someone and should love to read blogs, be familiar with RSS and understand tags. Click here to learn more about ScottradeDuties and Responsibilities: Monitor all Community activity for compliance and regulatory issues Actively participate in Scottrade's Online Community as a featured member - by moderating online focus groups, posting discussion threads and blogs, and other member interactions. Assist Scottrade's Online Community members with navigating the community platform Monitor Community activity for feedback and action items relevant to the Product Specialists Gather and report Community data and statistics Compile regular summary reports of Community activities Assist in monitoring the competition and suggest new features and enhancements to position Scottrade's Online Community more competitively Participates in overall Community strategy and development coordination for new features and functionalities for the Community Ensures the successful and timely completion, testing, release, and support of changes to the Community Makes daily decisions regarding critical QA incidents Prioritize and respond to feedback/suggestions/complaints pertaining to the Community Required Skills Strong communication skills, both written and oral Strong project management skills Good understanding of the online trading industry Strong understanding of online communities and social networking sites Ability to build relationships amongst a diverse group of team members such as Legal/Compliance, IT, Marketing and the Branch Network Ability to build effective relationships with outside vendors Strong presentation skills Strong analytical skills Proficient with Microsoft Office applications A passion for innovationRequired Experience Knowledge or experience with website navigation and user interfaces a plus.
