Position Summary:  You will be a valued member of our team, assisting with all aspects of service to our clients, from opening accounts to processing incoming business, from managing office systems to helping solve problems.  The office is a fast-paced and interesting environment in which you can grow and learn new things.

 

Job Description:  You will work side-by-side with people you can trust and respect.  You will be part of a team, providing a vital part of our group effort.  You will have many varied duties, and you must be able to prioritize and organize your time to accomplish the most important tasks.  Some of your duties will include:

 

1)      Helping to open new client accounts by preparing the appropriate paperwork, checking to see that it is properly completed, and submitting it into the automated processing system,

2)      Answering client questions about their accounts and assisting them in solving any problems that may come up,

3)      Assisting the senior partners with special projects,

4)      Managing office systems and utilizing computer tracking procedures in a fast-paced environment,

5)      Be prepared for this job description to change as you grow and expand your abilities to be promoted to positions of greater responsibility.

 

Requirements: 

• Must be a cheerful team player who works easily with others toward common goals.

• Should be very organized, flexible, and able to work well under pressure

• Must be detail-oriented with even the smallest details

• Should enjoy multi-tasking to be able to handle an environment where many different things are sometimes going on at once.

• Must be able to take direction

• Should be able to prioritize tasks and work well with deadlines



EXPERIENCE: Must have general knowledge of office systems (copying, faxing, phones, etc.) and some financial or investment experience or knowledge is a plus

 

COMPUTER: Must be able to learn standard computer programs quickly.  Familiarity with MS Word, Excel is necessary.

 

Compensation:  Salary will range $21,000 to $26,000 depending on experience and skills.  Because we are a small company, we do not qualify for group health insurance.  Benefits include a 401k with an employer match, plus generous holiday and paid time off schedule.
