DB Mortgage Services, the Loan Servicing Division supporting Deutsche Bank Berkshire Mortgage, is seeking a highly motivated individual who will be responsible for the property insurance functions servicing multifamily agency (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Mezz, Ginnie Mae/FHA, Conduit) apartment loans.



INSURANCE SPECIALIST

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Understand and help perform all insurance functions of the Loan Servicing portfolio.



Primary responsibilities consist of:



Receiving evidence of insurance and input of coverage information to the system of record and ensuring quality of the dataEnsuring insurance policies are renewed and evidence of insurance is receivedObtaining proof of payment of insurance policies for non-escrowed loans Ensuring notifications are sent to borrowers and originators within specified time framesPayment of insurance premiums on escrowed loansPreparation of reports for Insurance consultants and Investors. Collection of Insurance escrow shortages Establish/maintain strong relationships with borrowers, investors, insurance agents/carriers and insurance consultants as well as internal departments.Monitor Cancellations and place property on Force Place Insurance policy as needed.File all insurance correspondence, documents on a timely basis.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The ideal candidate will have a BA/BS degree and 1 to 3 years related work experience, preferably in an insurance, mortgage banking or financial services environment.
