Job Summary: This position prospects and sells credit card and check services to new accounts and manages the base business by selling additional products. Position will meet or exceed sales objectives of assigned territory by promoting FIS products and services through the use of professional sales techniques, effective time and territory management and all other tools provided and required by FIS. The position reports to the Regional Sales Manager. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS):Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree required in related business/marketing/or business finance discipline (preferred). Excellent and proven communication skills: written, oral and presentation. Minimum two to three years of direct sale experience with proven success and track record in exceeding performance objectives. Fully understands the sales process and the necessary components. Must be able to travel overnight as necessary and attend all Certegy sponsored meetings as required. Effective and articulate interpersonal and human relations skills. Demonstrates influence, persuasion and negotiation skills specifically with customers – external and internal. Efficient personal productivity with the ability to manage and monitor individual results – including excellent time and organization management, sense of urgency, customer focus, proactive nature, with strong initiative and high energy level with the desire to improve performance at all levels. Demonstrates excellent follow up skills for all areas of sales cycle. Strong critical thinking skills – analyze and evaluate sales situations through needs assessment, question deeply in oral fact-finding and information gathering, etc. Effective mathematical and financial skills – analyze and evaluate pricing and costing scenarios to offer the most viable value proposition. Strong customer focus – oriented to promoting customer satisfaction, resolution and loyalty. Meet and exceed sales targets. Achieve maximum sales by tracking and evaluating individual performance ratios, identifying new prospects, and marketing company within the assigned sales territory. Make quality sales prospect calls each week – in person and over-the-phone. Complete and deliver all required paperwork, e-learning courses, reporting, expense reports, sales pipelines, contracts and forecasts accurately and on time or as requested by management. Experience with Payment Services industry and solutions preferred – but not required.Training:Experience in participating in training for sales and product skills utilizing company delivery models (e.g., instructor-led classes, conference call learning, virtual classrooms, self-study, on-the-job training, etc.).Technical Requirements: Proficiency with Windows-based PC applications including Excel; Word; PowerPoint; Lotus Notes; and Sales Force Automation programs. Experience with Point of Sale terminal vendors and their programs – desired but not required.The ideal candidate will possess a competitive nature, entrepreneurial spirit, and a strong work ethic with a true desire to succeed. Must have a proven track record of success in meeting and exceeding goals/quotas. Must be able to work from a home office and possess a valid driver's license and insurance. ATTRACTIVE BASE SALARY PLUS COMMISSION WITH FIRST YEAR EARNING POTENTIAL OF $65,000 TO $80,000.
