Marketing Manager, Decision Support - Jersey City, NJ
Leading global financial services firm seeks a Marketing Manager, Decision Support who will be responsible for performing insightful analytics to help drive key business decisions and marketing strategies. Candidate must be able to critically analyze information and clearly articulate the main findings and business implications to marketing program managers, product managers, business leaders and executive management.
This role is a part of a team that provides analytics that are vital to the marketing organization's ability to understand customer dynamics. This analyst will be responsible for owning key reporting and analysis that measure firm success metrics. Typical projects would include setting targets, identifying trends, analyzing campaign and advertising performance, evaluating client's propensities to existing and new products, measuring attrition and retention, and identifying wallet share expansion opportunities. The role requires a highly analytic, hands-on individual who can synthesize large amounts of data into executive level PowerPoint presentations.
Requirements:BA required, MBA or graduate degree.3 - 5 years experience preferably within a financial services organization or consulting firm.3 - 5 years Marketing or Direct Marketing experience.Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Solid technical and programming skills including relational databases (Oracle, DB2) with SQL using any of the following application tools: SAS, MS Access or Business Objects. Highly proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
