Marketing Manager
Prestigious consulting firm in NYC seeks Marketing Manager with direct marketing and direct mail experience within a financial environment.
Roles and Responsibilities:Oversee cross-functional teams (e.g., client, internal team, creative agency, mail file processors, and print vendors) in execution of segment-based direct mail programs for consumer financial services products. This involves: Maintaining in-depth understanding of client's overall marketing strategy Managing timelines and budget Managing third parties in terms of quality of deliverables, costs, and overall efficiencies to maximize cost savings to client Develop direct mail materials that will motivate product ownership and usage in prospect acquisition, cross-sell and utilization campaigns. This involves: Researching and understanding client product offers, scope of mailing and competitive landscape Outlining strategic objectives based on quantitative research in creative briefs for each direct mail campaign
Previous Experience: 3+ years of experience in direct marketing and direct mail design Financial services background preferred Some quantitative background is recommended given the highly analytical nature of our work – this will help with project management tasks such as: Directing modeling Forecasting and evaluating economics of campaigns Developing and working with our segmentation frameworks Basic understanding of segmentation Excellent written and oral communications skills Excellent project management skills Experience with industry tools including Adobe Creative Suite (a possible plus as it may allow us to internalize some of the editing work)
Salary: to $120K
