Marketing Director

RolloverSystems, Inc. is one of the nation’s largest post 401K retirement solutions and services companies serving the retirement services industry.  We are currently seeking a Marketing Director in Charlotte, NC company headquarters.

 

Job Summary: 

 

The Marketing Director is responsible for managing all product development activities and the marketing services functions of RolloverSystems (RSI). 

 Position Responsibilities:  The successful candidate will ensure that the product and marketing related goals of the organization are accomplished by creating and implementing the necessary product and marketing initiatives; design, plan and develop on-going management and support of all enhanced IRA products and services related to providing solutions to the pre/post retirement related products offered to Rollover clients; serve as chief negotiator and relationship manager to external product partners; and manage the marketing services department (Communications; Cooperative & Direct Marketing and Strategic Marketing).  Qualifications:   The successful candidate must possess the following:

 3-5 years of experience managing experienced professionals with the ability to build teams, lead in uncharted terrain and manage multiple projects simultaneously for on time delivery in a dynamic fast-paced environment. Extensive knowledge of IRAs or retirement focused investment products and services and knowledge of how they interact with marketing, operations, sales, account management, pricing, mutual fund providers, contracts and compliance. Marketing communications, public relations, sales support and market making experience.  Must demonstrate the ability to create, manage and fulfil marketing programs/ promotions to deliver measurable results.

·  BA/BS in a related field required

·  Strong Marketing background and ability to manage marketing related products

·  Strong understanding of mutual fund based products  

·  Strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills

·  5-8 years of experience in marketing and / or product management and / or the IRA rollover Industry

 

Skills/Knowledge:

 Excellent promotional planning and market management skillsAbility to think strategically while driving product implementationsExcellent project management skillsThe ability to negotiate and manage supplier relationships and selling agreements  The ability to work effectively in cross-functional and cross-company teams The ability to negotiate, influence and participate effectively in team environmentsTeam leadership and management skills are a must, including setting priorities, supervising employees and implementing projects  Excellent communications skills (writing and presentation)Excellent budget management skills
