Location: Riverwoods, IL UNITED STATESFunctional Area: MarketingMin Pay Rate: $0Max Pay Rate: $0Pay Type: YearResource Type: Full TimeJob Description: The Marketing Communications Project Manager will be responsible for the management, oversight and execution of all “Network-Level� marketing and communications efforts. In addition to traditional marketing communication duties (sales tool development, client communication development & execution, eMarketing messages etc.). Craft concepts that enhance the brand and distinguish our products from the competition's and clearly convey our products' advantages over the competition. This person will partner with the Network eMarketing, sales, product, and business development teams to ensure a consistent message is communicated not only to our issuers, merchants, processors and acquirer clients, but also to their consumer clients (B2B and B2B2C). Candidates should have strong marketing communications and production management experience in a fast paced environment. A proven ability to support sales teams with presentations and client support relative to brand insights is also a requirement. SKILLSRequired: • 5-7 years marketing communications experience • Strong written communications skills • Ability to edit, write and create corporate/Network level communication pieces independently without aid of copywriters, agencies, etc. as needed • Craft creative that is free of errors in fact, style or presentation. • Experience in the financial services industry – card industry experience a plus • Profficiency in Microsoft office, Expertise in Microsoft Powerpoint, knowledge of creative Adobe suite a plus • Direct mail experience, knowledge of standard mail best practices, campaign/challenger campaigns, response rate optimization programs, etc. – card industry experience a plus • Experience working with external agencies in developing comprehensive marketing campaigns and advertising campaigns • Sales support experience – strong experience in developing sales toolkits, supporting sales teams with custom marketing campaigns, blitz campaigns, ongoing customer outreach efforts, etc. • Proven ability to oversee marketing campaigns from start to finish – ability to clearly articulate messaging in a creative brief, work with agencies to design campaign, develop ROI models for success definition, avility to develop internal training on campaign message and rationale, measurement of success, etc. • Ability to work independently with little guidance and/or oversight. • Ability to speak on behalf of the Discover Network as a spokesperson with both internal and external audiences. • Ability to manage to and optimize a budget. • Organized and produce consistently appropriate and effective communications under tight deadlines. • Welcome feedback and be professional and receptive to creative criticism and collaborative with business partners and marcomm team members. • Excellent people skills and an upbeat and enthusiastic attitude. • Prior employee management experience preferred.Desired: - Knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign or Dreamweaver - Experience managing product launch messaging and launch plan - Financial Services experience Click here to apply:
