Marketing Assistant

JOB TITLE: Marketing Assistant



JOB SUMMARY:

Supports for Company’s marketing efforts as well as supporting the Marketing Department staff with various functions and projects.



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Supports the marketing team by assisting as needed with: gathering data for various fact sheets, proofing marketing materials, and updating marketing materials.



Scans and loads documents into the company’s automated workflow/compliance review system.



Coordinates activities with our fulfillment vendor including uploading documents to the vendor’s system, inventory control, and entering in fulfillment orders.



Cleans lists from our content management system to facilitate in various mailings.



Updates marketing documents on our Intranet.



Maintains and creates basic departmental reporting.



Maintains print collateral library.



Assists department with ad-hoc projects, which could include supporting advisor conference calls with portfolio managers, assisting with promotions related to conferences, etc.

Excels in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines and executing responsibilities with minimal errors.



Strong technology skills required. Must be proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. InDesign experience a plus. Must also be able to quickly and efficiently learn new programs.





EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree in a business or marketing-related major preferred or 2 years of related experience.



Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Filemaker, Acrobat, InDesign and Photoshop. Web skills a plus.





PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Extensive work with computers.
