Market Analyst II

Major Purpose of this Job:

 

Participate in the development and implementation of marketing and communications for NASDAQ OMX Corporate Client Group and NASDAQ OMX Corporate Services.

 

Essential Job Functions:

 

1.  Execute marketing/communications plans for assigned products or services from inception through completion.

§ Media for marketing and communications include: direct mail, website content, collateral, email blasts, guides and pitches.

§ Activities for marketing and communications include: writing, proofreading and editing copy;; design and copy review; frequent participation in client meetings.

 

 

1.  Assist in the creation of presentations intended for NASDAQ OMX employees/management and current clients and prospects..

 

2.  Offer creative input for clients that fit budgets and target markets.  Work with agencies and in-house resources to execute projects.

 

 

Develop and execute launch plans for new products and services.

 

3.  Perform special assignments as directed by the Director, Vice President, or Senior Management.

Education/Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in business/marketing, English, communications, or equivalent. Seven or more years of experience in marketing communications.  Strong writing and editing skills; proficient understanding of marketing concepts. Project management experience. Proficiency in Windows and the Microsoft Office Suite of products.  Must be proactive and work independently.  Needs to have the ability to work on many diverse projects at the same time with various clients.  Strong organization and communication skills a must.  Experience in working with senior executives.  Agency experience preferred.  .

 

Working Conditions:

Works in an office environment, with frequent use of a telephone and PC. Occasional travel: 15%.
