Manager, Visual Presentation - Thyme Maternity
Creates and develops Visual/Window Presentation Program concepts & strategies, which support the buying, and selling process.
Creates, develops and oversees the design, production, communication and execution of all Visual Presentation training and guidance materials to educate the field.
Keeps abreast of visual merchandising, presentation and store design trends in order to identify opportunities to improve and develop Visual Presentation techniques.
Collaborates with Merchandising department to develop pre-season and in-season merchandising strategies specific to product.
Partners with Marketing and Operations teams to establish critical paths for all seasonal launches.
Coaches, motivates, provides guidance to and evaluates the performance of the visual team.
Oversees various store design issues by collaborating with Store Planning to ensure that store layouts and design support the company’s buying and selling strategies, that company standards are carried out consistently with respect to all visual presentation fixtures and to resolve any other store layout/design issues affecting/pertaining to Visual Presentation strategies and concepts.
Oversees the annual Visual Presentation budget.
Requirements:
College Degree (C.E.G.E.P) in related field (Fashion Merchandising, Retail Management) or equivalent University Degree
Computer skills: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Illustrator
7 years experience in specialty Fashion retail, including 2 - 3 years in visual
Proven managerial, oral and written communication, planning and organizational skills
Available to occasionally travel across the country
Bilingual (English and French): oral and written
Status: Temporary - Full Time
