Manager, Engineering Finance

Duties and Responsibilities:


1. Participate and control the development and execution of new product and product Improvement programs including: a) program and schedule management, b) budgetary development and management and c) coordination and analysis of product and platform cost.

2. Lead the financial analysis and execution of Product Improvement and Cost Reduction programs.

3. Lead the financial analysis and participate in the Engineering Change process.

4. Participate in the analysis to understand the financial ramifications all business actions.

5. Manage, lead, and coordinate the annual budget for the Engineering function.

6. Providing analysis of cost performance against budgets and standards, identifying operational efficiencies and evaluating variances.

7. Responsible for creating a positive control environment within Engineering in accordance with GAAP.

8. Manage Month-end Processes for Engineering group.

9. Support Dresser Internal & External Audits.

10. Management of one professional employees.



Educational Background Required:
-Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
-MBA desired.
-CPA designation is preferred.

Work Experience Required:
-In-depth working knowledge of manufacturing accounting principles.
-Seven or more years accounting experience, with at least two years in a manufacturing environment.
-Demonstrate knowledge of Microsoft Office, with advanced knowledge in Access and Excel.
-Excellent analytical ability and dedication to detail is needed with proven success in extensive analysis within a fast paced environment.
