Position Description:We’re going places at Triad Financial Corporation. We are currently searching for a Manager, Applications Services to add to our Dynamic Information Technology Team! This individual manages the development, implementation and maintenance of business applications systems to improve business processes and support critical business strategies. Manages IT Project Managers and Systems Analysts, coordinates IT activities, and manages projects for single business operation.Additional responsibilities include but not limited to the following: Acts as key IT liaison managing business relationships for a single business area Improves critical business processes through management of the requirements gathering, design, development, and implementation of application system changes and projects on-time, on-budget Ensures that sound Project Management techniques and system development methodology are applied to applicable projects Manages application system production support. Acts as application system(s) owner. Performs root cause analysis and resolution Performs as Project Manager as needed for assigned projects Evaluates and critiques systems development methodology usage Manages staff which includes: candidate selection and retention; employee coaching and counseling; appraising performance to identify training, development needs; rewarding and recognizing employees; and adopting practices to ensure a positive and safe work environment Participates in the development and administration of the department budget; approves the forecast of funds needed for staffing, equipment, materials, and supplies; approves expenditures and implements budgetary adjustments as appropriate and necessary Analyzes and produces project documentationThe ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with 8 – 10 years related work experience.
