Management Metrics Analyst 4

Job Description: Responsible for very complex client/partner assignments to identify and define strategic business issues requiring database analysis and translates this information into insight, knowledge and understanding of the business and the industry. Using multiple databases, performs very complex analyses/analysis design involving data mining and predictive modeling, regression/multivariate, financial, and/or comparative analysis. Responsibilities also include identifying opportunities for additional statistical models and creating sophisticated computer modeling approaches to analyze and forecast business performance, participating in and/or leading information capabilities development work; presenting results of analyses and recommendations to senior management. Ensures adherence to data management regulations and policies. Leads project/virtual teams and mentors lower level staff. This position will support the Home Equity Origination's Group.The typical tasks for this position will include:- Sophisticated Report Development SQL Reporting Services - Data Mining from multiple systems such as DB2, SQL, Oracle and SAS- Complex scoring / file processes- Lead junior analysts and contractors in support of report automation- Help junior analysts and contractors build sophisticated data processes (SSIS, SQL stored procs)- Identify opportunities for reporting efficiencies and data mining techniques- Provide support to Senior Management with an emphasis on regulatory reporting and audits- Direct interaction with the customers to develop in conjunction reporting requirements and solutionsIn addition to demonstrating the ability to perform those tasks, the successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to:- Handle multiple projects at the same time and meet deadlines- Research data issues- Interact with non-technical team members- Self-starter with the ability to pick-up new concepts and skills quickly- Goal oriented with strong data skills- Strong determination to overcome obstacles- Strong communication skills Minimum Qualifications: - 12+ years experience in an MIS group- Strong SQL Server 2000/2005- Strong experience with writing SQL / DB2- Knowledgeable with SQL Reporting Services and/or other reporting tools- Familiarity with OLAP solutions within a reporting environment- Masters degree in Computer science, Statistics, Information Management or related focus or equivalent experience Preferred Skills: - DB2 / SQL- SAS experience- ASP.net is desirable- Knowledge of Wells Fargo Home Equity (IDS)- Knowledgeable using SSIS to load all file types into SQL Server 2005- SQL Server 2005 database administration experience- Banking / Credit Policy experience- PhD in Computer science, Statistics, Information Management or related focus How to Express Interest in This Job: Wells Fargo invites you to apply for this job at https://employment.wellsfargo.com/psp/PSEA/APPLICANT_NW/HRMS/c/HRS_HRAM.HRS_CE.GBL?Page=HRS_CE_HM_PRE&Action=A&SiteID=1&Opening=3241733 We do not acknowledge the Online Application.WELLS FARGO IS AN AFFIRMATIVE ACTION AND EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER M/F/D/V.
