Maintenance Mechanic

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Maintenance Mechanic with 2 – 4 years experience to join our team. 

 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Perform general maintenance service and repairs in a professional office building and the surrounding grounds using skills in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, masonry, architectural hardware irrigation, and HVAC system. Accurately document labor hours and materials used on assigned projects. Identify and report to the supervisor repair needs and safety discrepancies when observed in the facilities. Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment and systems. Safely operate company van/cars and small power equipment (drills, saws, etc). Perform light janitorial responsibilities including refilling and repairing dispensers, washing windows and cleaning up spills. Usage of ladders, scaffolding, platforms, and personal lifts. Assist outside contractors or laborers as needed. Maintain accountability and inventory for assigned tools and equipment. Seasonal snow removal including shoveling, spreading salt, and operating.



Requirements:

 High School Diploma. Lifting up to 50 lbs. and ability to safely negotiate a maximum weight of 150 lbs. using proper tools and safety equipment. Good communication skills for daily interactions with employees and vendors. Basic computer knowledge is a plus.
