MGA Commercial Lines Production Underwriter/Broker (Fort Worth, TX)

Fort Worth based MGA looking for experienced commercial lines production underwriter/broker with at least 3 years experience working for an MGA and/or Surplus Lines Insurance in a sales production position. A current book of business and/or a current customer base is a plus. Position requires strong technical knowledge of commercial lines insurance coverage and rating, ability to work with various computer programs, excellent oral and written communication skills, excellent decision making skills, ability to develop relationships with customers and to develop a customer base and the ability to work in a production oriented environment. College degree preferred. Insurance agent or solicitor license required. CPCU or CIC designation or other industry coursework desirable. Location: Fort Worth, TX Compensation: Salary will be commensurate with experience. Compensation package includes base salary plus a production bonus based on achievement of income goals.
