MANAGER OF PRODUCTION SUPPORT: ASP/DATA OPERATIONS

Implementations Manager: ASP/Outsourcing Data Operations     Short Job Description: Leading provider of investment accounting outsourcing solutions is seeking a strong technical lead to manage a team of dedicated professionals. The manager of this team is responsible for the coordination and timely implementation of the technical infrastructure needed to support any new outsourcing or ASP clients. These implementations involve using existing and new software solutions that automate the data flow (download/extract/upload/FTP), transformation, and tracking of critical financial information within a production ASP/Outsourcing environment. Qualified individuals will have experience managing technical staff in a production environment coupled with a financial or investment accounting background.   Long Job Description: In this challenging and highly visible spot, you will use your technical knowledge to direct the automation of processes that retrieve, validate, transform, and distribute (or load) critical financial data. These automated solutions must have a high degree of reliability and quality, while ensuring that the information is processed on a timely basis. The position also requires analysis and troubleshooting skills, and presents an opportunity to be a key player in the growth of this dynamic business. Position responsibilities include:   · Leading and managing a staff of approximately 10 technical professionals · Interface directly with internal business contacts to establish project priorities and schedules · Interface directly with client and third-party contacts to establish tasks and schedules in order to ensure successful implementations · The design, development, and maintenance of all related data integration solutions · Systems analysis, integration, troubleshooting, and documentation · Assist in the environmental design from a hardware, software, storage, and networking standpoint for new implementations or expansions · Coordinate the setup of new hardware/software environments · Oversee the development and support of custom web interfaces (.Net, ASP, VB Script, Java Script, HTML, XML, Perl) · Database support and troubleshooting (SQL Server 2000/2005, MS-Access, T-SQL) · Interface with internal production support staff, external clients, and vendors (data providers) to help troubleshoot technical issues · Design and implement secure communications and scripts for file transfers (FTP/SFTP) between SS&C, its clients, and authorized third parties · Identify and implement process improvements/automation opportunities
