Litigation Assistant/Paralegal

West Los Angeles firm looking for a litigation assistant/paralegal for busy desk.

Requirements:
•  Minimum of 5 years experience working in a law firm and have consistent tenure;
•  Well organized, detail oriented, a multi-tasker, have excellent spelling, grammar and proofreading skills:
•  Efficient on Microsoft Word:
•  Experience on a Mac a plus;

Familiar and Proficient with:
•  All filing and service requirements for Superior Court, Bankruptcy Court and Small Claims Court:
•  Preparation of Initial pleadings, including Summons and Complaints (causes of action) and Civil Case Cover Sheets:
•  Preparation of Discovery Requests and Responses to opposing parties.
•  Case Management statements;
•  Jury instructions:
•  Trial notebooks;
•  Motions in limine;
•  Exhibit and witness lists.


Please be a self-starter, be proactive, be able to complete tasks with a minimum of supervision and have meticulous follow-up skills.  We are searching for someone who wants to be part of a team.  If you do not possess these requirements or you are not able to provide references, your resume will not be considered.
