Work with four other Associate Agents (CSRs), assisting five Producers (Agents), in the care and service of our large personal-lines book of 8000 established auto & home customers insured through our carriers: SAFECO, PEMCO, Mutual of Enumclaw, Liberty Northwest, Foremost, GeoVera Earthquake, National Flood Insurance Program, PROGRESSIVE and others.

The latest in agency management tools; we manage our customer accounts electronically with Applied 9.3, our workstations run Microsoft XP Professional, our servers run Windows 2003. A fast Dell desktop PC with dual flat-screen LCD monitors, with Outlook/Applied-integrated fax-from-your-desk connection, and optical filing (paperless office) Apres ETfile Document Imaging & Retrieval SystemRegular on-site training sessions in our video-projection conference/training roomWe are active Applied User Group members of ASCnet (Applied Systems Client Network), an international association of insurance agents and brokers who share this common interest: we all believe in the benefits of aggressively automating our offices and systems.Job Requirements:One year minimum experience in the insurance business A Washington State P&C insurance license Cool head under pressure from customers Polite, professional and warm people skills Superb problem-solving, analytical and organizational skills Strong PC/keyboarding abilities Applied TAM, or other similar agency management software experience preferredOn an average day, on behalf of your agent producer, you will accurately handle:
About 25 phone total phone calls to and from customers, prospects, company underwriters, claim adjusters and financial lenders requesting insurance updates, policy quotes, service and billing help. You will then handle tasks generated by these phone calls. Your supervising producing agent will assign you another 10-15 tasks given to you throughout the day which may include 5-7 new business insurance quotes, 10-20 renewals for your review, updating and cross selling and 10-12 letters or email prepared using our form letter customer database. Additionally, you may assist an absent co-worker in handling any additional tasks.
